Admissions Criteria
To attend Woodside Park School, the criteria is as follows;
- Children are aged between 7 and 11 who have a range of special educational needs.
- All students should have an Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan.
- Students may have learning difficulties and/or low attainment as a result of their Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Admissions Process
The admission process for students who wish to attend Woodside Park School are usually referred to us by their local authority. Once we agree that the prospective student meets our admissions criteria, we will arrange:
- A school visit for the child, their parents and/or carers.
- A tour of the school.
- An opportunity to meet our key staff and talk about our school policies and curriculum.
- Following the visit, if all parties agree that Woodside Park School meets the child’s educational and support needs, and that the child’s parents/carers are committed to the placement, we will start the formal admissions process.
