World Book Day

It’s time to dust off those costumes and dive into our favourite stories! We are thrilled to announce that Woodside Park will be celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 5th March 2026!

🌟To make the day extra special, we invite all pupils that are willing and able to:

👕Dress Up: Come to school dressed as your favourite book character. Whether it’s a classic hero, a modern adventurer, or even a mysterious villain, we can’t wait to see your creativity!

📚Bring a Book: Please bring in a favourite book from home. We will have dedicated “cosy reading” time throughout the day to share our stories with our friends.

We want this to be a fun, low-pressure day focused on the joy of reading. Homemade costumes are highly encouraged—sometimes a cardboard prop or a simple accessory is all you need to bring a character to life!
